Carolyn R. Stich is an artist in Holland, Michigan. Carolyn has illustrated 10 children’s books as well as filling a portfolio full of commissioned work for various businesses around the West Michigan area over the past 20 years. Her art work and photographs have been seen in many publications promoting the beauty of the Holland area.
Carolyn is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She studied commercial art and graphic design at Meremac Community College in St. Louis and continued her studies at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. In 1993, she and her husband moved to Holland, Michigan where they presently live with their two children, Peter and Rachel. Carolyn works out of her charming studio located in downtown Holland where she also has a gallery full of her wonderful work.
Carolyn began the Park Township Art Center years ago because she has so much fun working with kids and watching them create amazing art. Carolyn has continued her love of working with kids, offering classes year round and art camps during the summer at her studio.
Carolyn loves to share her studio with anyone who enjoys being creative. Whether you are young or old, have talent or not, alone or with friends, you are welcome to come and paint with Carolyn. She also enjoys working with groups for parties celebrations. or just a fun night out with friends.
May 2014 brought the opening of her retail shop on College Avenue, downtown Holland. She is so excited and thankful to have this opportunity. Come visit – we’d love to see you!
